Government Relations

Important decision making occurs at the policy level. Public consultations may involve detailed consultation with affected parties, establishment of a multi-stakeholder committee, or calls for public input. Effecting policy change that improves Indigenous outcomes in environmental policy is difficult, and requires a coordinated government relations approach.

Endeavour Scientific can assist clients in designing communications and engagement strategies, preparing briefs and detailed submissions, and representation on engagement activities.

Endeavour has worked with clients including the Fort McKay Sustainability Department, Mikisew Cree First Nation, Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation and Chipewyan Prairie Dene First Nation on government relations strategies including:

  • The Joint Oil Sands Monitoring Program

  • Oil Sands Tailings Reclamation and Remediation

  • Wood Buffalo Environmental Association

  • Lower Athabasca Regional Plan

  • South Saskatchewan Regional Plan

  • Aboriginal Consultation Policy

We are proud to partner with Inniniw Strategies, an Indigenous-owned boutique government relations firm to develop and implement comprehensive government relations strategies.
